Tokyo, Japan – March 26, 2026 — Atty. Grace Isanor G. Giduquio Larona of Valencia Colleges Inc. (Bukidnon, Philippines) presented her research at an international conference organized by The International Academic Forum (IAFOR) in Tokyo, Japan. Her presentation highlighted how school-based initiatives and innovations can influence student outcomes and strengthen institutional culture in a Philippine private school.
She spoke during the combined conference program of the 12th Asian Conference on Education and International Development (ACEID2026), the 16th Asian Conference on Psychology and the Behavioral Sciences (ACP2026), and the 12th Asian Conference on Aging and Gerontology (AGen2026), held from March 22 to 27, 2026, at the Tokyo International Forum and Toshi Center Hotel.
Organized by IAFOR in partnership with the IAFOR Research Centre at Osaka University, the event gathered scholars from across Asia and other parts of the world for interdisciplinary discussions in education, psychology, and gerontology.
Her paper, titled “Initiatives and Innovations in a Philippine Private School: Impact on Student Outcomes and Institutional Culture,” explored how academic and organizational reforms at Valencia Colleges Inc. contributed to student performance, engagement, and the school’s overall environment. Using empirical data from her institution, she showed how localized and context-responsive strategies can improve learning experiences and build resilience, even in resource-constrained settings.
Atty. Giduquio Larona’s participation reflects Valencia Colleges Inc.’s growing presence in international academic engagement. Her paper has also been published in open-access form, making it a citable contribution to the literature on private school reform in the Philippines. Participants from different countries recognized her session as a meaningful example of how small-scale, practice-based efforts can produce measurable results.
Her representation of the Philippines in this global conference further strengthens Valencia Colleges Inc.’s commitment to research-informed practice and continuous faculty development.
