The PACUCOA Accreditation Visit at Valencia Colleges (Bukidnon), Inc. was successfully held on March 30–31, 2026, aiming to evaluate the institution’s academic programs, facilities, and compliance with accreditation standards to ensure quality education and continuous improvement.

          A notable highlight of the opening day was the grand entrance of the accreditation team, warmly welcomed through a ceremonial procession featuring the VCI Ensembles performing traditional dances. This showcased the institution’s cultural pride, unity, and creativity.

          The program officially began at 9:00 AM with a welcome message from Dr. Merlinda B. Buno, School Director, who emphasized the institution’s commitment to excellence. This was followed by the introduction of the academic community and faculty, a presentation of the institutional promotional video, and the introduction of the accreditation committee by Dr. Dante L. Silva, Chairman, who outlined the objectives and expectations of the visit.

          In the afternoon, the accreditation team conducted onsite validation and review of documents to assess compliance with standards. Dialogues with students, administrators, faculty, and staff were also held to gather insights and feedback. The day further included classroom observations, community visits, assessment of resources, and inspection of facilities. It concluded with document validation, focus group discussions, and the team’s integration meeting and initial report writing.

          On the second day, the program resumed with formal opening activities. The highlight was the Exit Dialogue led by Dr. Dante L. Silva, where initial findings, commendations, and recommendations were presented. This was followed by the Words of Appreciation from Atty. Grace Isanor G. Larona and the distribution of certificates and tokens to the accreditors.

          The Closing Remarks were delivered by Professor Lita P. Sealza, reaffirming the institution’s commitment to continuous improvement and quality education. The activity concluded successfully with a renewed sense of dedication among all stakeholders.

          Overall, the PACUCOA Accreditation Visit served as a vital process in assessing institutional strengths and areas for improvement, reinforcing Valencia Colleges’ commitment to excellence, accountability, and continuous development.
